| A quick update on what is going on: at the moment, we are in Latvia, getting ready for the New Year's Eve celebrations (cooking, cleaning and... chopping wood for the "heating system" and Banya). Two of our friends gave birth, so yesterday we went to see two newly born babies - a boy and a girl. The girl is three and the boy is five weeks old - so tiny and so soft (I am still so fascinated by how a woman has a living creature in a belly for nine month). |
| Alright, it is time to go to the Dacha, so Happy New Year - Year of the Tiger - everyone! Wish you all what you wish for yourself - may everything come true! |

Farming Tourism In Riga
| Last weekend, we went to a quite vacation in Riga, Latvia to relax and to release everyday stress (after all, we do live and work in London). As the expression “Arbeit macht frei” goes, I had released my stress by working… working hard! |
| Take a look at the photo album at @ http://picasaweb.google.com/john.markh/20080914FarmingTourismInRiga |
Enjoy, John. |
P.S.: If someone is interested, I can arrange (a small administration fee will be charged) a weekend (full boarding) at the “farm” where you will be able to release stress and breath fresh air into polluted lungs of yours. |

Copenhagen
| Straight from vacation in Riga (you can find a photo album here: http://picasaweb.google.com/alla.markh/RigaOctober2007), I was sent to a project (thanks god, just a short one) in Copenhagen (København). |
| Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to explore the city (yeah... I had to work as well) and to go to a local Tuborg brewery, but you can find some photos at http://picasaweb.google.com/john.markh/20071011Copenhagen. |
Enjoy, John. |
| P.S.: CZA (Czech Airlines) are the best! |

New Year

Happy New Year every one! I want to wish to all of you a happy and successful year.
For the last two week, we have been in Riga to celebrate New Year (http://picasaweb.google.com/john.markh/01012007Riga). A lot of our friends from UK came (home) to Riga to celebrate a "White" New Year. Unfortunatly, this year, there was no snow during those two weeks. It was raining most of the time and was really cold (so, why there was not snow?!?).
